Weingut Allram Riesling Strasser Gaisberg 2007
WS92: "Juicy, rich and ripe, with intense flavors of apple, pear, peach and dried apricot. The luxuriously spicy finish features notes of chamomile, piecrust and hints of nutmeg. 500 cases made." - James Suckling
18/20, Jancis Robinson: "Complex, unfurling, unfolding aromas: lemon wax, deep roasted pastry and an almost malt-bread sweet nuttiness. The palate has more fruit than you’d expect from the nose. Fresh ripe nectarines and sultanas and spice. Creamy on the mid palate, it seems to billow into the mouth and then the acidity reverberates and shaves everything back to a needle point of focus. Stunning. I could hardly tear myself away from this wine."
Incredible Austrian Riesling from a second-generation family estate in Kamptal. From a high-altitude vineyard, this is dry, fresh and layered with notes of nectarine, spice, lemon, hazelnuts, and more. Super-complex with nice acidity. A magical wine to get lost in. Less than 500 cases produced.
