Domaine Vincent Dampt Chablis 2017
The Dampt family has a long tradition of winemaking in Chablis. Vincent trained at Domaine Leflaive before inheriting his own vineyards. His plots are on the left bank of the Serein river, on the famous Kimmeridgian marl. This Chardonnay comes from a single plot in Milly, between 1er Cru Vaillons and 1er Cru Vote de Lechet. It’s full of citrus and white fruits with a hint of minerality. A classic Chablis.
WS91: "Round and smooth, this white delivers peach, melon and tangy lemon flavors, with a touch of bitter citrus peel. Builds to a long, minerally aftertaste. Drink now through 2024." - Wine Spectator
