WA90: The 2019 Chardonnay features compelling notes of spice cake, coriander seed, cashews and brioche over a core of apple sauce and poached pears. Truchard Vineyards is a small, family-owned winery in Carneros. One of the reasons Tony & Jo Ann Truchard's wines are unique is thanks to the topography, consisting of rolling hills, steep ravines, and numerous valleys that have many different soil types. Each plot is strategically planted to bring out the best in the varietal.
