Tenuta di Trinoro sits in a valley where Tuscany meets Umbria and Lazio. Led by Andrea Franchetti, the estate is producing remarkable Bordeaux blends with a focus on Cabernet Franc. The estate's second wine, Cupole was first produced in 1995. It is a blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot. It is aged in one to three-year-old barriques and cement. The wine is velvety and approachable, with fresh red fruit and spice.
