Tensley was established in 1998 in the scenic town of Los Olivos in the heart of Santa Barbara County. The family owned and operated winery produces single-vineyard Syrah along with this ‘Fundamental’ blend of Syrah, Petite Sirah, Mourvedre, Grenache, and Viognier. It is full-bodied and layered with dark berries, smoked meats, herbs, and espresso. A fantastic value and a great introduction to Tensley’s wines.

WA92: The 2019 Fundamental Red has a medium ruby-purple color and aromas of red and black cherries with accents of earth, dried orange peel and dark spices. The medium-bodied palate is soft and juicy with spicy fruits and a long finish.
