Stephane Aviron has made a radical return to tradition in Beaujolais by using sustainable viticulture, extremely old vines, and classic Burgundian techniques. He creates cru Beaujolais that are expressive, age-worthy, and drink like fine Burgundy wines. All of his vines are at least 40 years old. This is 100% Gamay from Saint-Amour, the most northerly of the crus. The vines produce light, charming wines with soft, juicy fruit.
