Scarpetta Sauvignon Blanc Colli Orientali del Friuli 2014
Scarpetta is a project between Master Sommelier Bobby Stuckey and chef de partie Lachlan Patterson who worked together at The French Laundry. They consider themselves Friuliophiles, even opening a restaurant in Denver inspired by the Friulian food and culture. Their Sauvignon Blanc comes from a vineyard in the Colli di Orientali. It’s focused with bright acidity and an array of fruits like lime, apricot and peach. Organic.
