San Felice Chianti Classico Riserva Il Grigio 2018

San Felice is one of Tuscany’s treasures. It boasts Michelin-starred restaurants, perfect views, and a village with ancient origins. Il Grigio is produced from 100% estate Sangiovese, aged 24-months in oak. The wine walks a wonderful line between traditional and modern, packed with dark berries, leather, and licorice. It is always one of Italy’s great values.

JS93: Black cherries with summer black truffles and dark wood on the nose. A medium-to full-bodied red with medium, round tannins and lovely fruit. It firm and flavorful. Drink now, but can age nicely.

VM90: San Felice's 2018 Chianti Classico Riserva Il Grigio da San Felice offers lovely brightness and energy. Fresh red fruit, spice, wild flowers and mint give this mid-weight Riserva lovely aromatic presence to match its understated personality. The 2018 is very nicely done.
