Renieri Brunello di Montalcino 2012

JS95: "Very perfumed with chocolate, berries and spices. Some nuts, too. Full body, velvety tannins and a luscious finish. Extremely long and generous yet shows reserve. Drink in 2019."
The Renieri estate was purchased by Marco Bacci of Chianti Classico’s well-respected Castello di Bossi in the late 1990’s. It sits in the southern quadrant of Montalcino on volcanic soils that give the wines amazing minerally undertones. This Brunello di Montalcino has hints of chocolate, berries, and spices. It’s full bodied with velvety tannins. Rich with a luscious finish.
