The founder, Josep Maria Raventos i Blanc believed deeply in creating a worthy alternative to champagne. After creating the Cava DO in 1872, they have found that the designation lacks the characteristics that allow the wine to represent the land and climate. They have now proposed the Conca DO to showcase their wines in the most honest form. Biodynamic & organic.
