JD97: The 2020 Chardonnay Rochioli Vineyard is a stately white from this incredible vineyard, with potent and expressive aromas of honeysuckle, preserved orange citrus, and fresh pineapple. It is layered and complex, with a touch of spice, it’s full bodied on the palate and has ample texture, although it’s not heavy, with a creamy mouthfeel and notes of lightly toasted hazelnut, ripe orchard fruit, custard, and ripe baked apples. It’s long on the palate and has a good finish. Drink it over the next 12 or more years.

WA93: The 2020 Chardonnay Rochioli Vineyard has pretty scents of baked apples, honey, roasted almonds and honeysuckle. The medium-bodied palate is satiny and expansive with a core of savory fruit balanced by bright acidity, and it finishes long and layered.
