WA93: As usual, the 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon Stagecoach Vineyard is more primordial and broodingly backward than its siblings. It offers notes of charcoal and earthy black currants, high tannins, and a full-bodied, powerful personality. While filled with purity and depth, it will need time in the bottle.

WS93: Dense, rich and savory, with earthy hazelnut, dried currant, black cherry and blackberry fruit that slowly unfolds to reveal extra facets of spice, berry, fresh-cut flowers and sage. Returns to the fruit theme on the finish.
