Pagliarese Chianti Classico 2019

Here, Sangiovese is blended with small amounts of Canaiolo (for softness) and Mammolo (floral and spice). It is aged in neutral Slavonian oak botti. The result is a juicy and refined wine, filled with dark fruits. Organic. 

JS93: A wine with very fine tannins and a refined, caressing palate. Medium body. Cherry and cedar. Lovely texture to this. Consistently outstanding quality. Drink or hold.

WA90: The Pagliarese 2019 Chianti Classico is a bright and simple expression with pretty notes of earth, blue flower and Mediterranean herb or lavender essence. The wine reveals a slim, lean-bodied approach with well-dosed acidity on the close. This vintage shows some extra concentration with candied cherry and blackcurrant on the finish.
