Neil Ellis Sauvignon Blanc West Coast 2022

Neil Ellis is one of the doyens of the South African wine industry. Starting with négociant beginnings in the early 1980s, he now seeks out parcels of interesting vines to make exceptional wines under his own name. He farms sustainably. 

The West Cape white is 85% Sauvignon Blanc and 15% Chenin Blanc planted on granite and clay soils. The wine is aged on lees to add complexity and texture. Beautiful minerality here.
