JS93: Pure merlot with plenty of berry and stone character. Medium-bodied with round tannins that spread across the palate. Creamy texture and a delicious, savory finish. 40% no wood. So drinkable now.

VM92: The 2019 Mondot is plush, silky and delicious, just as it was en primeur. Bright red-toned fruit, cinnamon, mint, crushed rocks, blood orange and exotic spice lend gorgeous primary intensity. Soft contours and bright acids give the 2019 tons of appeal and sheer vibrancy. Aging 60% in barrel and 40% in tank, is an approach that preserves quite a bit of freshness. - Antonio Galloni
