Lemelson Vineyards Pinot Noir Theas Selection 2016

Lemelson Vineyards produces wines at their seven estate vineyards in the rolling hills of Western Oregon. Eric Lemelson implemented his dream of using organic farming methods to create a sophisticated gravity-flow winery. Thea’s Selection is a polished Pinot Noir with black cherry, red currant, and raspberry on the nose. Full of silky tannins and subtle spice notes.
JS93: Dark cherries and toasted spices make for a captivating nose with plenty of immediate interest. The deeply rich dark-cherries on the palate are cast along fluid, long and sturdy tannin lines. Strong finish. Drink or hold.
WS91: Vibrant and generous, with expressive raspberry, orange zest and tarragon flavors that take on complexity toward polished tannins. Drink now through 2026.
VM90: Deep red. Ripe red fruit, floral, musky earth and spice qualities on the slightly shy nose. Offers supple black raspberry, cherry-cola and spicecake flavors that are given spine by a core of juicy acidity. Shows very good clarity and a touch of bitter chocolate on the velvety finish, which is framed by smooth, even tannins. (30% new French oak
