Lemelson Vineyards Pinot Noir Theas Selection 2016
Lemelson Vineyards produces wines at their seven estate vineyards in the rolling hills of Western Oregon. Eric Lemelson implemented his dream of using organic farming methods to create a sophisticated gravity-flow winery. Thea’s Selection is a polished Pinot Noir with black cherry, red currant, and raspberry on the nose. Full of silky tannins and subtle spice notes.
JS93: "There is a wealth of dried lavender on the nose of this pinot noir as well as herbs, vanilla and red plums. The palate is nicely fresh but with plenty of red apple fruit, grainy tannins and a fruity, chewy finish."
WS91: "Expressive black cherry and forest floor aromas open to refined and balanced dark raspberry, bitter chocolate and spice flavors that finish with minerally tannins. Drink now through 2023."
