Lavau Côtes du Rhône Blanc 2018
The Lavau family, originally from Bordeaux, has been involved in winemaking for several generations. Seduced by the richness and quality of the Provencal soil, they decided to settle in the Rhone Valley in 1964. This Cotes du Rhone blanc is a blend of Grenache Blanc, Marsanne, Roussanne, Viognier, and Picpoul. Juicy and fresh with white fruit and floral notes.
WS90: Very juicy and bright, with verbena, star fruit, white peach and honeysuckle notes blitzing through. Offers a racy, lively finish. Best value.
JS90: A light, bright and floral nose with lemon and apple-pastry aromas, leading to a palate that has a very concentrated and smooth-honed core of pears and apples. Drink now.
