Kosta Browne Pinot Noir Pisoni Vineyard 2017

JD98: Lastly, the 2017 Pinot Noir Pisoni Vineyard comes from the southern end of the appellation. Its vivid ruby/plum color is followed by a stunning Pinot Noir that has everything you could want from this region. Ripe black cherries, mulberries, crushed flowers, spice, and assorted earthy notes all define the bouquet, and it's medium to full-bodied, with a seamless texture, flawless balance, and a rocking finish. Enjoy this gem of a wine any time over the coming decade or more.
JS95: This has an earthy edge with red and blue fruit and leafy nuances on offer. There’s a brambly, sous-bois edge, too. The palate has impressive depth and weight with a succulent, smoothly fleshy feel. The tannins are very polished and supple with a glossy texture and a juicy, deep finish.
