Familia Vicente Pearce Corte Azcuenaga Vineyard 2017

The small Familia Vicente Pearce winery focuses on high quality single-vineyard red wines that reflect their origin. Only around 400 cases per year are produced here. The source is the Azcuénaga Vineyard planted mostly in 1990 at 2,800 feet elevation in Maipú, Mendoza. The Bordeaux-inspired Corte blend is 45% Merlot and 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, with Malbec and Cabernet Franc. It is layered with blackberry, raspberry, vanilla spice, and black pepper. Soft, juicy and delicious.
