Enrico Serafino Alta Langa Oudeis Brut 2015
Founded in 1878 in Canale d’Alba, Enrico Serafino has been one of the first Piemontese Historical Wineries to create prestigious Traditional Classic Method cuvées. The name Oudeis derives from the Greek language and means No One (Odysseus). It is meant to recognize the terroir of Langa as the most relevant cause of the quality of this wine. No person, even with experience, dedication and hard-work, can be considered the origin of the complexity that we all seek in a wine. Only the terroir has this distinctive trait and Enrico Serafino recognizes it in the name of its Alta Langa DOCG. 80% Pinot Noir, 20% Chardonnay.
Brilliant pale yellow. Intense aroma rich in honey scents, white flowers, white fruits enhanced with bread crust and fine yeast aromas. Fine and persistent pérlage. Complex aroma, elegant, fresh and with good salinity at the same time, with long mineral persistent finish.
