Domaine Ott Rose Cotes de Provence Chateau de Selle 2019

The benchmark for elegant Provence Rosé, Domaines Ott is actually comprised of three small estates in two appellations. Château de Selle was the first estate acquired by Marcel Ott in 1912. Vines are planted on complex soils previously planted with olive, lavender and mulberry trees. The wine is highly distinguished, with Cabernet Sauvignon lending complexity and strength, Grenache texture, Cinsault a delicate and rounded touch, and Syrah rich color. Incredible length on the finish.
WA91: The beauty of the Ott rosés is that they don't wallop you with confected aromas, remaining cool and elegant. The 2019 Cotes de Provence Rose Chateau de Selle—a blend of 56% Grenache, 25% Cinsault, 11% Syrah and 8% Mourvèdre—offers up scents of wet stones, grapefruit, lime and hints of wild strawberries. It's medium-bodied, with a fine line of acidity, a delicately silky texture and a lingering, refreshing finish.
