Cristom Vineyards Pinot Noir Mt. Jefferson Cuvee 2015
JS95: "The nose is fresh and shows great depth with raspberry crumble, dried wild strawberries, orange peel and milk chocolate shavings. Medium- to full-bodied with lots of spicy, crunchy red fruit, tangy acidity, firm tannins and a long finish. So good now but better in 2019." - James Suckling
A twenty-plus-year collaboration between an engineer, a winemaker, and a farmer, led to Cristom Vineyards in the hills of Oregon. The Mt. Jefferson Cuvée is blended from Cristom estate Pinot Noir vineyards and fruit from neighboring Willamette Valley vineyards. Each vineyard’s fruit adds special character and structure to the wine. This is so fresh and approachable. Mid-weight, slightly spicy, with a velvety texture. Organic.
