Jim Clendenen (Au Bon Climat) started this label in 2000 from small, family tended vineyards. The wine is named for Clendenen's beloved Border Collie, Pip.

It is a gorgeous Pinot Noir with notes of cherry, anise, and currant. A luscious feel on the palate, yet quite pale in color. Only neutral barrels are used for aging, allowing the fruit to really shine through.
