Chateau Martinet Saint-Emilion Grand Cru 2015
Chateau Martinet sits upon 25 hectares in the heart of the town of Libourne, just outside of Saint-Emilion. This 18th century estate has been called the "Prince of Sandy Gravel". The vineyard is planted with Merlot (65%) and Cabernet Franc (35%). The wine is a big, lush style, packed with bright fruits and hints of tobacco.
JS93 : Attractive, dark-spiced cherries and blackcurrants with orange rind, rose hip and some earthy depth. The palate has a smoothly rendered and suave mouthfeel to it, delivering dark, ripe plum and cocoa flavors in refreshing style. Drink or hold.
