JS90-91: A pretty and clean red with currants and hints of chocolate. Hazelnuts, too. Medium body and a solid center palate.

Dating to the 16th century and once combined with Haut Brion, Les Carmes Haut Brion is one of Bordeaux's most exciting producers. Uniquely, a majority of Cabernet Franc is planted here.

The second wine is nuanced with red fruits, light tannins and a touch of earth. Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot with just a touch of Petit Verdot. So pretty and expressive, it drinks like classic Burgundy!
