The village of Bouzy and the house of Paul Bara are practically synonymous. Bouzy is home to some of Champagne’s greatest Pinot Noir sites, and many argue that Bara is its most renowned producer. Always produced from 100% Grand Cru vineyards, this is old-world, hand-crafted, grower Champagne at its best. The vintage Brut is a blend of 90% Pinot Noir and 10% Chardonnay from 35+-year-old vines on clay and limestone. As always, this marries fruit intensity with chalky minerality. So balanced.
