Castilla Leon Toro Liberalia Enological 5 Cinco 2003

WA94: The 5 Cinco is 100% Tinta de Toro sourced from a vineyard with vines over 100 years of age. It was aged for 14 months in new French oak and 22 months in bottle prior to release. Purple/black in color, it reveals a fragrant perfume of toasty new oak, spice box, saddle leather, blueberry, black raspberry, and black cherry. This is followed by a medium to full-bodied wine already exhibiting complexity, superior depth and length, and enough structure to evolve for another 6-8 years.
