Bodegas Muga Cava Brut Metodo Tradicional Casa Conde de Haro 2015
Muga is known for their traditional techniques, including the use of oak barrels made in-house. The estate’s sparkling cava comes from high altitude vineyards in the same area as its flagship Prado Enea vineyard. It is made from Viura (90%) and Malvasía (10%) and undergoes primary fermentation in large oak vats. This is a dry, crisp sparkler with complex notes of roasted nuts, citrus, white fruits, and minerals.
JS91: "Attractive, toasty, grilled cashews and hazelnuts, white mushrooms, bright lemon and peaches. Dry, crisp and taut with fresh cashews to close." - James Suckling
