Attems Sauvignon Blanc Venezia Giulia 2017
The Attems dynasty dates as far back as 1106 and is an important part of Italian wine history. Count Douglas Attems founded the Collio Wine Consortium. It was – in chronological terms – the third to have been founded in Italy and the first in the Friuli region. Their Sauvignon Blanc is crisp and refreshing, with layers of minerals, peaches and herbs. It is delicious as an aperitif and also pairs well with vegetables, fish, and pasta.
JS91: Light grapefruit, pear drops and yellow apples. Medium body, fresh acidity and a zesty finish. Pretty white. Drink now.
