Attems Sauvignon Blanc Venezia Giulia 2018

The Attems dynasty dates as far back as 1106 and is an important part of Italian wine history. Count Douglas Attems founded the Collio Wine Consortium. It was – in chronological terms – the third to have been founded in Italy and the first in the Friuli region. Their Sauvignon Blanc is crisp and refreshing, with layers of minerals, peaches and herbs. It is delicious as an aperitif and also pairs well with vegetables, fish, and pasta.
JS90: A fresh and easy sauvignon with sliced apple and pear character. Some lime and herbs. Medium body. Crisp and lightly phenolic texture at the end. Drink now. - James Suckling
