Argiano Non Confunditur Rosso Toscano 2016
Argiano’s winemaking history dates back to the late 1500’s in Montalcino. After planting many non-traditional grapes to the area, this super Tuscan was born. Meaning unique and unmistakable in Latin, Non Confunditur is a full-bodied blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot and Sangiovese. Dark fruits and spiced flavors with a nice long finish make this quite the find for an under $20 wine.
JS93: "This is beautiful on the nose, showing lots of brambly notes, ranging from undergrowth and forest floor to elderberries, raspberry bush and dried herbs. Full-bodied, tight and very elegant, framed by linear tannins and bright acidity. Drink in 2020." - James Suckling
