Pierrie-Jouet is famous for having the world's oldest vintage Champagne in existence (1825). It is comprised of 50% Chardonnay, 45% Pinot Noir and 5% Pinot Meunier. The blend contains primarily Chardonnay from the grand crus of the C?te des Blancs. Round and expressive, offering caramel, apricot and vanilla pastry aromas and flavors on an elegant frame with a long, nutty finish. (Wine Spectator, 92 pts.)
