Due to total destruction from phylloxera in the 1890s, and its hilly terrain, impossible for mechanical cultivation, the vineyards of Seyssuel were abandoned until 1996. This is a beautiful Condrieu, aged on lees in vats and 2-7 year old French oak barrels for 9 months. It shows aromas of mandarin and apricot, and broad flavors of pear, apricot, lime and peach. Textured and complex.
