This beautiful white is made at the wine academy in Trentino from the Incrocio Manzoni grape - a crossing of Rhine Riesling and Pinot Bianco developed by the university professor of the same name. This is a very good example of what the grape can do in cooler climates, with white peach, pear and spiced almond flavors in great balance. -EG (4/12)
