This delicious Chardonnay sees no oak and resembles traditional-style Chablis. It is crisp, mineral-driven and long, with flavors of apple, pear and cream. The Dionysus Vineyard is the oldest Chardonnay vineyard still planted in Washington, and the fruit is grown using biodynamic practices. One-third undergoes malolactic fermentation, producing a wine that has both great texture and great freshness. -EG (6/12)
