Located in Castellina in the heart of the Chianti Classico district, the estate dates back to the sixteenth century. Poggialupi is sourced from vineyards around the Chianti Classico region and is aged in a combination of large botti and small barrique barrels. This has all the high-toned fruit and balanced acidity that Rodano built its reputation on. 90% Sangiovese, and 10% Merlot.
