This is Cerro's first wine from revered oenologist Riccardo Cotarella. A blend of 80% Sangiovese and 20% Merlot, this wine is a deep ruby color with intense aromas of wild berries, hints of spices and vanilla undertones. It is dense, with a round, decisive flavor and excellent persistence. This is an outstanding value from one of the most beautiful properties in Montepulciano! -EG (1/13)
