Christian Moreau is one of the leading figures in Chablis. The winemakers are non-interventionist’s practicing bio-dynamic viticulture resulting in extremely low-yields and extraordinary quality. Hand-picked from one of the top Grand Cru's, Les Clos shows a nose of acacia blossom and crushed stone that matches the mineral infused flavors.
Tasting Notes
Aromas of citrus blossom and chalk dust lead into lemon, vanilla, peach and mineral in this elegant, yet powerful white. Really expressive of place, this evolves across the palate, cascading into a long aftertaste of citrus and mineral. There’s a fine seashore intensity. Best from 2013 through 2030. 400 cases made. --BS
