A family estate owned by two cousins, this is a field blend of old bushvine Carignan fermented in small concrete tanks, and aged in old French oak for 14 months. The wine shows beautiful cassis and chocolate covered cherry fruit. Juicy and pure, and a style not really typical of South Africa. -EG (3/12)
