Before the phylloxera epidemic of the late 1800s, wealthy Chileans brought home and planted cuttings of unaffected French vines. Since then, Bordeaux varietals have thrived here. This is a great example of premium Chilean Cabernet at a great price. Harvested by hand and aged 12-18 months in French & American oak, this shows expressive aromas of plum, cedar, tobacco and sweet fruit. On the palate, fruit balances well with soft tannins, leading to a long finish.
