One of Rober Parker's World's Greatest Wine Estates, Pol Roger is largely judged by the consistency and quality of this non-vintage cuvee. This is where the true house style is defined and executed year in/ year out.  Equal parts Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier, this Champagne is a particularly good value.  It is full-flavored, yet crisp and delicate. Nicely doughy on the nose with distinctive mature, toasty and nutty flavors. Pol Roger Brut Rose 2002

Pol Roger only produces the Brut Rosé in vintage years. The wine is a blend of 65% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay  from Premier and Grand Crus in the Montagne de Reims and Cote des Blancs regions. "From the great 2002 vintage, this is a beautiful structured wine, packed with a fine texture of red berries, intense acidity as well as richness. Intense, complex wine that could well age." Falmet is one of the great Grower Champagne values out there.  Full-bodied and full of rich character, it is flavorful and aromatic with floral notes, minerality and herbs.  Just under 1200 cases of the NV Brut are produced annually, and the predominant varietal is Pinot Noir, with 20% Meunier and 10% Chardonnay.  A delicious Champagne to serve with food.

Moncuit is one of the greatest names in Grower Champagne.  The fruit for this cuvee comes entirely from the Grand Cru village of Le Mensil-sure-Oger.  This Blanc de Blanc is  boisterous and creamy, with flavors of apricots, flowers and minerals; a richly textured Champagne. Refined and polished throughout, the Hugues De Coulmet possess terrific balance and tons of style.  (Wine Spectator, 91 Points)

Pierre Moncuit Champagne Blanc De Blancs Grand Cru 2004

Champagne Pierre Moncuit is based in the superb Côtes des Blancs village of Mesnil-sur-Oger, and it is in this Grand Cru commune that the family owns fifteen of its twenty hectares of vines. This is a tremendous vintage effort, with pear, orange zest, white flowers and minerals on the nose; deeper toast and honey notes add depth and carry onto the palate, contributing roundness to the lively citrus and underripe orchard fruit flavors.

Nicolas Chiquet is the eighth generation to farm 23 hectares in the Valle de la Marne in the villages of Ay, Dizy, Hautvillers and Mareuil-sur-Ay. All of the fruit comes from premiere and grand cru grapes. Light and airy, yet with enough substance to keep the cherry and strawberry flavors interesting. Located in Côte des Bar, in the communes of Buxeuil and Polisy. 100% Pinot Noir grown in Kimméridgien clay-limestone soils. Bright gold. Deep peach and pear aromas are complemented by floral honey and smoky minerals. Lush pit fruit and honeyed pear flavors pack a solid punch and are brightened minerality. Gimonnet is considered a benchmark for quality in Champagne. This is 100% Chardonnay with nearly 75% from Grand Cru villages.
